In 1971, NID introduced the patented World's first 'Pneumatic Starch Buck.

This entirely new approach to starch moulding and demoulding opened the way to produce a whole range of goods that were normally considered too difficult to be produced efficiently by the starch moulding process.

By completely removing all starch from the goods without any rough mechanical handling of the product, the most delicate articles such as crusted liqueurs can be produced continuously, automatically and on a full production scale.

Versatility of production

PNEUMATIC MOGUL LINESNot only is the 'P-Buck' ideal for the production of centers for enrobing, but it can be used for all the more standard gelatine starch moulded products, whether they be single, double layer, novelty articles or center-in-shell etc.

Now, from experience gained over the past years, many improvements have been made on the present model. The remaining difficulties in keeping proper formation and removal of all starch from the articles have now been solved.
